Stadium Cuisine: Hot Dog Bacon Burger

You know how people love hot dogs and burgers? Well they just had a baby...


The Royals and Rangers have for some reason decided unknown to science or humanity to start selling a bacon wrapped burger, wrapped hot dog. I am all for advancing the culinary world and finding amazing new ways to combine foods so I get better tasting food, especially, ESPECIALLY at the ball park. I mean don't get me wrong, I love a Fenway Frank as much as the next guy, but sometimes you wouldn't mind something a bit fancier. This monstrosity isn't it though. I mean just look at it...
That is not something I want sitting in my stomach for 7 or 8 innings before I have to run to the bathroom to stop the shooting pains that are sure to follow. I'd much rather spend the $8.75 it will cost on something else, anything else except this. I also don't want to hear those people who are like, "but it's covered in bacon so that makes it all better". WRONG. Bacon is delicious and there is no way the bacon on this is going to be high quality and crispy. You really think Gary the 17 year old kid trying to save up some cash cares about how cooked the bacon is? No, no he does not.

Do yourself, your stomach, and your intestines a favor and just skip the bac-urg-dog and stick with beer or the classics and wait for the next not as weird concoction that will be sure to come out. If you don't be prepared for a lot of TUMS and Pepto
