NFL Most Impressed, CFB Showdowns, and Parlipod

The guys discuss the NFL, pulling pitchers in perfect games, and the top CFB matchups....

The guys kick off the podcast with some conversation about (7:00) Week 1 in the NFL. James introduces two new segments that he thought of all by himself, "Most Impressive/Least Impressive" and "Jurys In/Jurys Out" and the impressive football knowledge exchanged is downright impressive. Greg and James go over their week 1 picks and review and make picks for week 2, where James will try and bounce back from what he calls "a warm up week".

The guys end their NFL talk with the guest pick made by Dave from the Parlipod Podcast before moving into the college world of football (49:00). Major showdowns in the top 25 this week are looked at and Greg discusses how the Big 12 could be out of the CFB Playoff by the end of Week 3.

Finally, the guys enter the realm of the (53:00) MLB and look at the wild card races in the AL and NL. These races are coming down to the end of September and should make for a fun time for everyone. Lastly, the decision by Dodgers Manager Dave Roberts (Greg has some memory issues with that) to pull Rich Hill while throwing a perfect game and only 89 pitches is debated.
