Redraft Hero Best Buys: Week 14

There is only a quarter of the football season left and that means for most of you that fantasy football playoffs are starting or a week away. Don't worry though because you can still have something on the line until the very end with Redraft Hero and their DFS contests. Of course, let's focus in on the IDP contests specifically and the "Best Buys" for Week 14. This week I'll make my picks are simple and clear. I know some of you are celebrating or shopping for the holiday season and need all the time you can get. So without further ado here are this week's picks....

DE: The guy to go with this week is Chandler Jones, he is only $5500 and averaging a lofty 8.2 fppg. I mean this guy is a gift wrapped up in a bow if your looking to save some money this week. He is 3rd among sack leaders and without a doubt one of the top DE's in the NFL. Pick him up and watch the money pile in.

DT: This week I am looking for solid production and that is going to come from Sheldon Richardson of the Jets. He like Jones is coming in at a nice $5500 and putting up 6.4 fppg average. That is not to shabby for a DT, he is also going up against a Tennessee offense that outside of last week in Jacksonville has not been stellar. Look for him to feast on rookie QB Marcus Mariota.

LB: The linebacker position has been fun to watch this year and I have enjoyed watching Mychal Kendricks come back from an early season injury to become a solid starter for the Eagles. He has been consistent and after a low point total against New England, he is cheap at $6300, but averaging 8 fppg. He will fair better this week against Buffalo since they are more of a run offense than N.E. Don't forget his production was low last week because Philly's D-line flew through the Pats O-line providing less opportunities.

CB: The Eagles are a quick pass team and a lot of their game plan is to pass short routes or out of the backfield. I expect Ronald Darby to be busy and for the $5600 he costs, he should be considered a value play since he will most likely exceed his cost. Averaging 7 fppg I can see him recording an INT  because Bradford decided not to give the ball away last week in Foxboro. The Bills will also be fighting for a wild card spot so expect the defense to come out fired up.

S: The safety spot this week matches the guy I am going to go with, a safe pick by the name of Mark Barron. He is by far my costliest "Best Buy" at $6700, but when your putting up 7 points or more since week 5, your considered a safe play. Going up against  Detroit offense that likes to pass more than anything I expect him to keep his 8 fppg average the same or increasing.

That's my stance, let me know yours.
